Welcome to dartsly.app! Dartsly is first and foremost a hobby project of mine to test new technologies in a somewhat more realistic project to try out. Nevertheless, I would of course like to see where I can take dartlsy.
During Covid, many of my friends started playing darts. Of course, we wanted to play together, but we weren't allowed to meet up during lockdown. So we played darts while talking on the phone and shouting the scores into the phone. But when the first friends started creating Excel spreadsheets to analyze their matches, we wanted an online platform that we could use to play together and analyze our matches. Although such platforms already existed, they didn't seem to me to be quite up to date in terms of user-friendliness. So (after two years of thinking about it) I started to build dartsly.
First and foremost, I want to create a platform for darts players who want to throw a few darts with their friends. I only play steel darts myself, so this is mainly in the back of my mind.
dartsly is still at the very beginning of its journey. Let's see where it goes! Feel free to leave me feedback for feature requests or any suggestions!
